Falsie

Ready-to-hang “Falsie” on your choice of either Canvas, Lustre paper, Acrylic, or Metal. A macro photo of the unique patterning of the False Albacore Tuna (AKA Falsie). These fish are prized for their intense fighting and are used as bait for further fishing. Despite their name, these fish are not considered “real” tuna as they do not belong to the genus Thunnus. They do belong to the same family, Scombridae, but are more closely related to mackerel. I thought myself obligated to display the beautiful blue and black shimmering patterns of this fish.
