Hands Up

Ready-to-hang “Hands Up” on your choice of either Canvas, Lustre paper, Acrylic, or Metal. An invasive Japanese Beetle poses with its hind legs splayed high in a defense display to my lens. These beautifully reflective beetles infest plants in the spring time. This macro photo crisply captures the tiny details of the beetle and its flower bulb perch. I particularly enjoyed revealing details such as the pores, leg tips, and eyes of this insect. This photo was one of my first wholly successful macro photos.
